MLL-r leukemia and lymphoma

MLL-r leukemia and lymphoma designates, in the literature, leukemia and lymphoma with a translocation involving the KMT2A (lysine (K)- specific methyltransferase 2A) at 11q23.

The KMT2A gene was previously designated ‘myeloid/lymphoid or mixed-lineage leukemia’ (MLL) gene (other aliases : ALL1 or HRX). ‘MLL-r’ stands for MLL-rearranged.
