Correspondence between the different chain type nomenclatures

Light chain types in Teleostei are designated as IG-Light-Iota. There are four IG-Light-Iota chain types depending from the IGIC subgroup (IGIC1 to IGIC4) to which belong to the C-GENEs.

It is not yet known if the four subgroups are present in all Teleostei species.
