IMGT notes:
(1) In IMGT gene names, the "H-2" prefix [1] is replaced by the "H2-" prefix according to the MGI Nomenclature Committee and by analogy with the "HLA-" prefix.
(2) In MGD: H2-Ab1.
(3) H2-M genes encode Hmt antigens.
(4) H2-Q4 encodes the Qb-1 antigen.
H2-Q6 to H2-Q9 genes encode the Qa-2 antigen.
H2-Q10 gene encodes the Q10 antigen [11].
(5) H2-T3b, H2-T3c and H2-T13c genes encode TL antigens [11].
H2-T23 encodes the Qa-1 antigen.
(6) Murine equivalent of the human HLA-DOA gene.
(7) H2-T23, which encodes the Qa-1 antigen, is probably orthologous to human HLA-E [12].
(8) The two different genes, previously designated as Mb1, correspond to H2-DMB1 and H2-M1, respectively [13].
