IMGT/MHC-HLA (or IMGT/HLA)
IMGT/MHC-HLA (or IMGT/HLA) [1], a component of IMGT/MHC-DB, is part of IMGT, the international ImMunoGeneTics information system® http://www.imgt.org [2].
IMGT/HLA is the database of human MHC sequences or HLA (Human Leucocyte Antigen). it is the second IMGT sequence database and the international reference for the alleles of the HLA. IMGT/HLA, hosted at EBI, has been on the Web since December 1998. IMGT/HLA was developed by Julia Bodmer (ICRF London, Oxford) and Steven Marsh (ICRF, ANRI London), and implemented by Ansar Malik (EBI) and James Robinson (ICRF Oxford) in the frame of the European programmes BIOMED1 (BIOCT930038) and BIOTECH2 (BIO4CT960037). IMGT/HLA is currently maintained by ANRI (Steven Marsh and James Robinson) and hosted on the EBI server.
