Probes
Probes are described in a new section of the IMGT Repertoire (Probes and RFLP), currently developed.
This section contains data on probes used for the analysis of Ig and TcR gene rearrangements and expressions, and RFLP (Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism) studies.
Clone characteristics and availability are provided with links to the ATCC (American Type Culture Collection), HGMP-RC (Human Genome Mapping Project Resource Centre, UK) and JCRB (Japanese Cancer Research Resources Bank) collections.
RFLP alleles and frequencies in different populations have been collected from the literature with links to NCBI genome entries.
