Following the IMGT annotation of the contig of 5 accession numbers which represent the complete human IGHV locus (AB019437, AB019438, AB019439, AB019440, AB019441):

10 V-REGION sequences which represent new alleles were added in Reference sequences:

17 V-REGION sequences become new Reference sequences (more complete sequences):

All the other V-REGION sequences of the contig which correspond to alleles described previously were added in Sequences from the literature.

Note that prior to the annotation of the contig:

41 pseudogenes belonging to the clans were integrated in IMGT (30/08/2000) because they were the unique known sequences.
