Number of germline genes and potential repertoire: Mouse (Mus musculus) IGHV

The mouse (Mus musculus) IGHV genes mentioned in table on the left, as those of the IMGT Gene tables, are not yet mapped and refer to several strains. Sequences, in some cases, may therefore represent alleles of a same gene rather than genes different, and therefore this table does not take into account data from the Mouse Genome Sequencing and is provisional. Recent data from the C57BL/6 genome sequencing [1] are shown in the table on the right.
