Em allotype

Em1 allotype

One allotype marker, Em1, was reported on human IgE Fc [1]

The correlation between the allotype Em1 and the corresponding amino acid change has not been identified. Therefore the IGHE polymorphism can only be analysed at the molecular sequence level [2,3] Alignments of alleles: human (Homo sapiens) IGHE.

(1) Amino acid numbering in bold is according to IMGT unique numbering for C-DOMAIN [4], and between parentheses: exon numbering [2].
