(1) The Human (Homo sapiens) TRG locus [1] is the first complete locus of the adaptive immune response entered in database as 'genes' as well as conventional genes in 1989, leading to the creation of IMGT® by Marie-Paule Lefranc (CNRS and Université de Montpellier) and to immunoinformatics, a new science at the interface between immunogenetics and bioinformatics [2].
