Correspondence between serological DR families and HLA-DRB gene and allele: main haplotypes
There are one or two functional HLA-DRB genes per haplotype (Locus representation: HLA-DR haplotype).
The HLA-DRB3/4/5 gene, if present, is located in telomeric position compared to HLA-DRB1 in the MHC locus at 6p21.3 (IMGT/GeneSearch, IMGT/GeneView, IMGT/LocusView).
