IMGT/JunctionAnalysis
IMGT/JunctionAnalysis [1] is part of IMGT, the international ImMunoGeneTics information system® http://www.imgt.org [1].
IMGT/JunctionAnalysis, created by LIGM (Université Montpellier II, CNRS), is an IMGT tool for sequence analysis,
on the Web since 17 June 2001.
IMGT/JunctionAnalysis is a tool, complementary to IMGT/V-QUEST,
which provides a thorough analysis of the V-J and V-D-J junctions of the immunoglobulin (IG) and T cell receptor (TR)
rearranged genes.
IMGT/JunctionAnalysis delimits precisely the P and N regions of the V-J junctions. In the case of V-D-J junctions (IGH, TRB and TRD), it identifies the D-GENE and allele involved in the V-D-J rearrangements by comparison with the IMGT reference directory, and delimits precisely the P, N and D regions. Several hundreds of junction sequences can be analysed simultaneously.
