Chromosomal orphon set
A chromosomal orphon set is a set of IG or TR orphons (genes outside from the main loci) belonging to a same group and localized on the same chromosome in a given species [1,2].
The 'chromosomal orphon set' concept is part of the 'CLASSIFICATION' concept of IMGT-ONTOLOGY[3]
There are 12 IG chromosomal orphon sets and one TR chromosomal orphon set in human.
