- the second D-J-C-CLUSTER, in 5' of the 3' V-CLUSTER, includes 1 TRBD gene (functional), 8 TRBJ genes (6 genes are functional and 2 genes are ORF) and 1 TRBC gene (functional). The most C-proximal TRBJ gene, TRBJ2-7, being localized at 3.478 kilobases in 5' of TRBC2.

MOXD2 (5' borne) has been identified 53 kb upstream of TRBV1, the most 5' gene in the locus.
EPHB6 (3' borne) has been identified 41 kb downstream of TRBV30, the most 3' gene in the locus.
