Pig (Sus scrofa) TRBV genes

The pig (Sus scrofa) TRB locus comprises 38 TRBV genes belonging to 24 TRBV subgroups:

• 27 FUNCTIONAL
• 11 PSEUDOGENE

The TRBV genes are localized in 2 V-CLUSTER:

• the 5' V-CLUSTER, classically in 5' of the TRBD, TRBJ and TRBC, includes 37 TRBV genes belonging to 23 subgroups (27 genes are functional and 11 genes are pseudogenes)
• the 3' V-CLUSTER, downstream of the TRBC in inverted orientation, includes 1 TRBV gene (functional)
