Rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) TRBV genes

The Rhesus monkey (Macaca mulatta) TRB locus comprises 77 TRBV genes belonging to 32 TRBV subgroups:

• 48-57 FUNCTIONAL
• 3-9 ORF (Open Reading Frame)
• 15-22 PSEUDOGENE

The TRBV genes are localized in 2 V-CLUSTER:

• the 5' V-CLUSTER, classically in 5' of the TRBD, TRBJ and TRBC, includes 76 TRBV genes belonging to 31 subgroups.
• the 3' V-CLUSTER, downstream of the TRBC in inverted orientation, includes 1 TRBV gene.
