Naked mole-rat (Heterocephalus glaber) TRG locus on chromosome 1

The Naked mole-rat (Heterocephalus glaber) TRG locus spans 333 kilobases (kb), from 10 kb upstream the most 5' gene in the locus, TRGV1-1 (F), to 10 kb upstream of the most 3' gene in the locus, TRGC5 (F). The Locus representation encompasses 400 kb including the 5' borne AMPH and the 3' borne STARD3NL.

- the fourth V-J-C-CLUSTER, includes 1 TRGV gene (pseudogene), 2 TRGJ genes (ORF) and 1 TRGC gene (pseudogene).
- the fifth V-J-C-CLUSTER, includes 3 TRGV genes (1 gene is ORF, 2 genes are pseudogenes), 3 TRGJ genes (1 gene is ORF, 2 genes are pseudogenes) and 1 TRGC gene (functional).

Bornes of the naked mole-rat (Heterocephalus glaber) TRG locus

AMPH (5' borne) has been identified 81 kb upstream of TRGV1 (F), the most 5' gene in the locus.
STARD3NL (3' borne) has been identified 5 kb downstream of TRGC5 (F), the most 3' gene in the locus.
