  34. (34) In the human TRB locus, the TRBV30 gene is localized in 3' from the TRBC2 gene and is in inverted orientation of transcription. Due to its polarity opposite to the TRB D-J-C-CLUSTERs, TRBV30 rearranges by an inversional joining [11].
  35. (35) This gene was previously entered in the databases as V21.2, M33234 [13], but has been shown to contain several nucleotide errors.
  36. (36) Arbitrary limits of the DNA sequence assigned to the different TRBV genes. V-GENE positions are those in the Accession number L36092.
  37. (37) The original L36092 sequence (684973 bp) has been split in EMBL into three sequences of 267156 bp (U66059), 215422 bp (U66060) and 232650 bp (U66061), L36092 has become secondary accession number of U66059, U66060 and U66061. In IMGT, the original sequence L36092 which is fully annotated has also been kept as primary accession number, in addition to U66059, U66060 and U66061 [11].
  38. (38) The pseudogene TRBVC, originally identified by its unproductive rearrangement in the T cell line MT-1 (M11957) [46], is localized between TRBV27 and TRBV28 (E. Carillon and M.-P. Lefranc, 13/09/2013). It is truncated and only comprises the 3' end of the V-REGION and the V-RS.
  39. (39) The insertion of 1 nt in the L-PART1 of AB305822, compared to the L-PART1 of AB305924, may be due to a sequencing error.
  40. (40) The not confirmed TRBV6-2*02 (P) and TRBV6-2*03 (P) alleles were deleted (13/07/2018). M31347 (g#) (formerly TRBV6-2*02 (P)) was assigned to TRBV6-2*01 with a deletion of 1 nt 'g' (nt 147) due to a probable sequencing error in V-REGION (Assignment of rearranged cDNAs and gDNAs to germline genes: Human TRBV).
